Classical Twins

Classical Twins – Classical Singers

Naomi and Hannah are 22 year old identical twin sisters who have been classically trained singers. They appeared on BBC’s show ‘The Voice’ to great acclaim, gaining popularity in the classical world and receiving millions of views of their angelic blind audition. Since then, they have performed at international rugby dinners, celebrity galas, and even beside world-class singers’ concerts. Most recently performing alongside Anton Du Beke from Strictly Come Dancing, and the classical star, Aled Jones.

Naomi and Hannah’s love of singing began when they were only seven years old. They signed up to their local church choir and quickly found a love for choral music, performing together in a matter of weeks. Subsequently, they went on to achieve grade 8 in classical singing.
The twins have performed alongside a number of classical crossover artists; for example, number one selling soprano Rebecca Newman; Britain’s Got Talent winner, Charlotte Jaconelli; and most notably, the Brit-award winning group, Blake together with Sinfonia Viva Orchestra at the prestigious Last Night of Blickling Proms with an audience over 6000.  Their soon-to-be released album, ECHO, will feature Adrian Sutcliffe, the world-renown conductor Steve Bingham, talented composer Chris Broom, and the incredible Ely Sinfonia Orchestra and features magnificent classical songs in close harmony, such as Pie Jesu, as well as film scores such as Nelle Tu Mani from Gladiator.

Martin – Tenor

Manchester tenor Martin is one of the UK’s most in demand singers for concerts and also major sporting, corporate, celebrity and charity events. He has performed with some of Europe’s top artists including soprano Lesley Garrett and Ireland’s Chris de Burgh who described Martin’s voice as “phenomenal”. In May 2009, he performed the national anthem for and subsequently met Her Majesty the Queen at the official royal opening of the brand new rugby stadium and sports complex in Leigh, Lancashire.
Martin is particularly celebrated amongst sports fans having sung the national anthem at rugby and football stadia throughout the UK including at Old Trafford, the Millennium Stadium, Twickenham, Eastlands at the recent Man City v Spurs Premier league match, and in September 2007 at Wembley in front of 90000 people for what was England’s first ever competitive football international at the new stadium, the Euro 2008 qualifier vs Israel. To many, Martin is known as “England’s Winning Tenor” as the England football team has won without conceding a single goal every time he has sung the national anthem before the game – now 5 times! In April 2008, he sang Nessun Dorma on the pitch at Wembley as a tribute to England’s only ever world cup winning football captain, the late Bobby Moore.

Martin has recently performed for top companies including Honda and Coutts as well as for high profile charities such as The Prince’s Trust and the Christie. He has been asked to sing at events for some of sport’s biggest names including Sir Alex Ferguson, FIFA President Sepp Blatter, England rugby heroes Jason Robinson & Lawrence Dallaglio, tennis legends John McEnroe and Boris Becker, and earlier this year at Wembley for the England football manager Fabio Capello.
